January seems to have flown by since I got back from the Maldives, and I can hardly believe that we are nearly at Valentine’s Day!
Now, much as I love gift guides, this year I am going to be focusing on What to Wear with these Valentine’s Day Looks You’ll Love, but as I am also including accessories, there will be some gift ideas too!
Even if you don’t love the commercial aspects of Valentine’s Day, it’s still a fun excuse to dress up and have a romantic dinner with your significant other or maybe a fun gal’s night out, whatever the occasion, you will need to find the perfect look.
But, sometimes it can be hard to master holiday dressing without seeming cliché, especially when it comes to Valentine’s Day.
There’s no need to dress in head-to-toe heart prints (although you can if you want to!) because I’ve picked out some of the best accessories, dresses, and sets that don’t scream cheesy.
With pops of pink and red, I have a selection of outfits that, whilst they stay true to the romantic spirit of the day, also feel like pieces that can be worn year round. And if pink and red are not your thing, I have you covered too with my LBD picks and I have also selected a few looks with a more edgy vibe.
Valentine’s Day Looks You’ll Love
1 Opt for Pantone’s Colour of the Year – Viva Magenta
Pantone’s Color of the Year, Viva Magenta, is a bold and vibrant shade that the brand describes as a “crimson red tone that presents a balance between warm and cool.”
Viva Magenta is sure to get you noticed and make a statement. This powerful and energetic colour evokes feelings of excitement and passion and is the perfect choice to turn heads this Valentine’s Day.

2 Choose a Romantic Print
Another option is to go for a Valentine’s Day dress in the classic shades of red or pink, hues typically associated with love and romance, and if you’re looking for a really feminine look, then a floral print is definitely the best choice for you.

3 The Little Black Dress
If pink and red are not your style, you can’t grow wrong with a LBD, which will not only be a major hit for Valentine’s Day but also a wonderful asset to your wardrobe for years to come.

4 Edgy vibes with leather
If you don’t want to look too girly for Valentine’s Day, then you can put together an edgy Valentine’s Day Outfit with leather or faux leather. The outfits below are all from one of my favourite brands, Nocturne.
Another way to add an edgy vibe to your Valentine’s Day Look is by adding some feathers, such as in the dress below, also from Nocturne.

For many women, myself included, accessories are the icing on the cake and the right accessory is a key part of their outfit, and accessories will still fit you, no matter how much pizza you eat!
Here are my handbag, jewellery and shoe selections to complement your Valentine’s Day Looks You’ll Love.
1. The perfect handbag
