I wish that I was referring to my age in the title of this post, but I am actually referring to the skirt, which I bought from Forever 21 several seasons ago and which is the perfect skirt to pack for a holiday or weekend get-away!
I was originally planning to call this post ‘The High Street on holiday’, but couldn’t resist the play on words. However, everything I am wearing in this post is from a high street store.
Read on for more photos, details of where I am and details about this look.
Forever 21 on holiday
If you follow me on Instagram, you will know that I love to travel and that I recently went to Tenerife. I haven’t yet written a blog post on ‘What to do in Tenerife’, but it will be coming soon! In the meantime, I thought that this spot near ‘Los Gigantes’ was too pretty not to take photos!
It was only when I started writing the post that I realised that everything in this look is from the High Street, and also that everything is at least one season old!
The top is from H&M and I love the lace detail, which means that I can easily dress it up for a night out by adding some bling , the skirt, as I mentioned, is from Forever 21 and I bought it at least six years ago, so it has lasted well! Although this skirt is no longer available, you can find a wide range of skirts in this price range here and some Forever 21 Coupon Codes here.
The shoes were from Top Shop last season and I have also had a lot of wear from them. They are so comfortable, which is great for sightseeing, and, finally the bag was a purchase from Zara several seasons ago!
Finally, if you go to the end of this little passageway and through the gate, you come out at the sea and I just had to include a photo of the view, which was breathtaking! Can you see the ‘natural’ pool, built into the rocks?
What do you think? Do you ever wear a whole outfit from the High Street? I was actually quite surprised to see that I did and also pleasantly surprised at how long these pieces had lasted! As always, I love to have feedback, so please do leave comments and if you are a blogger yourself, then please leave your URL, so I can read your posts too.
You can also contact me via e-mail if you would like any advice or just to chat.
Thank you for reading and have a great weekend!
