Inspiring Women – New Series!

It’s your time to fly!

As you may know, I have recently launched a new business to coach women to live the life of their dreams, and in order to inspire you, I want to share with you a series of inspiring women of all ages and in all walks of life who have walked the road before you and who have gone on this journey.

The aim of this series is to inspire young women to take a leap of faith and launch the career of their dreams and to motivate women in midlife to reinvent themselves and start living the life they always dreamed of.

Young people usually aspire to what “they know”, and will usually follow the path of what they see all around them and what they encounter in their daily life. And if you don’t know that something exists, you can’t possibly aspire to it!

If you can dream it, you can do it.

I want to show them that their dream life, and an amazing future is available to them, regardless of their background and education, by showing them a wide range of role models doing interesting and exciting jobs in order to inspire and motivate them.

Inspiring women in midlife to reinvent themselves

At midlife, you have enough life experience to take stock of what is important, dismiss what isn’t, and become who you want to be.

We are now living longer than ever before, and people aged 55 to 64 are now the fastest growing group of new entrepreneurs!

The key reason most entrepreneurs in this age group give for starting a business is to pursue a passion.

Reinvention is all about re-launching your life to make this next stage of your life fun, inspiring and motivating.

If you don’t want to launch a business, then it’s really important to find your purpose or your passion so that you have a reason to get up each day!

We are often more likely to seek work that has greater personal meaning or social impact at this stage of our lives, as it’s all about giving back and helping others.

New Series

So after that long introduction, welcome to this new series about women inspiring women, and today I want to start with a few inspiring women whose books I really recommend, before kicking off the interview series next Monday.

Each Monday, I will be sharing an interview with an inspiring woman from different age categories and walks of life, so I hope you enjoy this new series.

Michelle Obama : Becoming

In her autobiography, the former first lady takes us through the challenges and triumphs in her life that have shaped her into the fearless female leader she is today.

This book is full of messages of strength and determination, as well as inspiring quotes. from her story.

Barbara Stanny : Secrets of Six-Figure Women

Barbara Stanny is a bestselling author, coach, speaker, and workshop facilitator, who helps women create the wealth and life they deserve.

In this book, she identifies the seven key strategies of female high earners based on extensive research and hundreds of interviews, and she gives a framework that every woman can use to successfully make the money they desire.

Grace Bonney : In the Company of Women

This book showcases over a hundred experiences from women in different careers throughout the world, covering a range of professions.

By embracing a variety of professions, from media titans and ceramicists, hoteliers and tattoo artists to comedians and architects, the reader gets a first-hand account of what the working world is like for women of all ages, races, and backgrounds, and this books paints a beautiful picture of what happens when we pursue our passions and dreams.

Sophia Amoruso : Girl Boss

Before launching Nasty Gal and Girlboss, Sophia Amoruso was broke, homeless and rummaging through dumpsters for leftover food.

Sophia was never a typical CEO and she’s written Girl Boss for other girls like her: outsiders (and insiders) seeking a unique path to success, even when that path is windy, unpredictable and fraught with obstacles!

Her book shows that being successful isn’t about where you went to college or how popular you were in high school. It’s about trusting your instincts and following your gut; knowing which rules to follow and which to break.

Sara Blakely : The Spanx Story

Sara Blakely had a problem. She had a beautiful pair of white designer pants hanging in her closet just calling out to her to wear them, even though they accented her least favorite feature: cellulite. After searching high and low for a solution her idea for Spanx was born.

The Spanx Story chronicles Sara’s journey and educates and inspires entrepreneurs and innovators to find the problem for their solutions and persevere through all of the hard work that goes into building a billion-dollar company.

You can also learn from Sara Blakely on Masterclass, where for a monthly fee of $15, you have access to over 100 classes, including Sara’s.

I hope you enjoy this series about Inspiring Women and that it inspires you to create the life of your dreams!
