I am totally in love with these slightly distressed jeans from Zara. As an older blogger, I felt that ‘slightly’ distressed was a good starting point for this trend, and to smarten the look up a bit, I opted to pair them with a smart black jacket/coat and high heels!

Floral midi skirt by Wolf and Whistle*
If you remember a couple of weeks ago I did a post about a beautiful jacket from the British brand Wolf and Whistle, and I mentioned that I had also received a gorgeous floral midi skirt, so today I want to share this floral midi with you.
I love both the pattern and the quality of the material. The skirt is fully lined, has a beautiful ombre floral pattern and sits at a chic midi length.
I was absolutely delighted when Wolf and Whistle contacted me to choose two items from their website for review*, the jacket (see here) and this floral midi skirt.

I am totally in love with this patchwork skirt from Zara (last year, but you can still find similar this year in just slightly different colours!). I love the patchwork pattern and I love the fact that I can wear it in Summer, with a strappy top as in the above picture, but also in Autumn and even Winter, with tights and boots (and even a hat!)

Florals with Wolf and Whistle
I am totally in love with this amazing floral jacket from the British brand Wolf and Whistle. I love both the pattern and the quality of the material. The jacket is beautifully tailored and fully lined with slit sleeves.
I was absolutely delighted when Wolf and Whistle contacted me to choose two items from their website for review*.
My only difficulty was the vast choice available, although I eventually opted for this beautiful jacket as I thought it would be perfect to brighten up jeans and would also look great with a dress or skirt. (I also chose a beautiful floral midi skirt, which you will be seeing in a future post).

Ruffles and Prints
I am so happy that we are finally having some warm weather and that all the flowers are in bloom. This magnolia bush is so gorgeous!!
I love this ruffle and print dress from TopShop, as it’s so summery. I paired it with nude heels, (although I think it would also look great with sparkly sandals), and a simple silver necklace from Stella & Dot.

Sparkles and lace
As you know I have a thing for lace – in fact I’m not sure if there is a colour in which I don’t have a lace dress!
Today, I am wearing this black lace dress from last season at Club Monaco, but to brighten it up a bit I have paired it with sparkly sandals (which you can see below) and a sparkly clutch.
