Welcome back to The Velvet Runway and this post about How to Wear a white tee.
A white tee is an essential part of any closet. You can use it to dress down or dress up an outfit and you can wear it at any time of the day and any time of the year.
How to wear a white tee
A white tee is so versatile that you can easily use it to transform an outfit from the office to a night out, simply by changing your skirt and accessories and you should always remember it on holiday for a change from beach to sightseeing to night out.
Read on for three ways to wear a white tee-shirt : Casual, work and day to night.
Casual
Pack it in your suitcase for your holidays and wear it with casual shorts for a day sightseeing or over a swimsuit at the beach, and don’t forget you can easily transform it for a night out.
You can also pair it with capri pants for a smart, casual look.
For an easy outfit which fits all occasions, simply pair a white tee with jeans and customise with your choice of accessories.
Simple jewellery and flats or boots create a look suitable for the school run or work, and swapping for statement jewellery and high heels transforms your outfit for a night out.
Work
Wear it for work by tucking it into a high-waisted pencil skirt, adding some simple jewellery and a blazer if you want to look extra smart. Then team it with your choice of heels to add a bit of glamour.
Day to Night
Dress it up for a night out by pairing it with a sparkly, suede or leather skirt and accessorise with gold jewellery, and heels.
I couldn’t decide which skirt to pair it with for this look, so I tried both!
However, you choose to wear it, a white tee is an indispensable addition to your closet.
And as always, my dog wanted to be in the photo!
