Review of Natura Siberica Creams *

Welcome back to the Velvet Runway, where today I am sharing my Review of Natura Siberica Creams. If you remember, a few weeks ago, I wrote a review of  Eco Natural Products * , a company which is dedicated to providing natural and organic products with a wide range from soap to anti-aging products, hair care and make-up.

Review of Natura Siberica Creams

As I believe that it is important to be aware of what we are putting on our skin and to pay attention to the ingredients, I was delighted to take advantage of this opportunity, and one of the products I tested and loved was the Natura Siberica Sculpting Face Mask (now replaced by the Nature Siberica Firming Night Mask) So, when I was offered the opportunity to review the Natura Siberica day and night creams* I was delighted to accept.

Read on for my thoughts on both these creams:

Review of Natura Siberica Creams

Review of Natura Siberica Creams *

First of all, a little introduction to the Natura Siberica range. This is a line of organic Russian cosmetics, covering skin care, hair care and make-up, using natural products from Siberia, where as it is generally known, the climatic conditions can be very harsh. In order to survive in this environment, Siberian herbs and plants produce protective substances that possess strong anti-oxidant properties and Natura Siberica products all contain these hand-picked Siberian plants and herbs which it is claimed  enhance the body’s well-being and slow the ageing process

In addition, the products all meet European standards of quality organic cosmetics (as confirmed by numerous certificates, such as ICEA, ECOCERT, COSMOS STANDARD,  and BDIH), and all the products are free from silicones, mineral oils, PEGs and parabens.

Natura Siberica Snow Cladonia Day Cream SPF15

Review of Natura Siberica Creams

Claims

This product has been specially created for mature skin, and it’s key ingredient is Snow Cladonia, which stays green even during severe Siberian winters (up to -50C. ).

It also contains usnin acid, to restore skin cells and effectively slow down the aging process, as well as Natural Vitalayer to give your skin a smooth texture and elasticity by boosting the production of hyaluronic acid to deeply moisturize the skin and reduce wrinkles.

Anti-ageing SYN-AKE and SYN-COLL complexes regenerate skin cells and stimulate collagen synthesis, renewing the glowing appearance of youth.

Wild harvested Siberian ashberry extract and organic wheat oil beautifully soothe and heal the skin and it also contains SPF-15.

Packaging

The product is presented in a pump dispenser, which is very easy to use, and it seems that the cream would last a long time.

Directions for use

Put a small amount of face cream on your fingers and apply it on the cleansed face. Massage with gentle movements until completely absorbed.

First impressions

  • Texture : The cream has a medium texture. It is non greasy and slightly yellow in colour.
  • Ease of application and absorption : the cream is easily absorbed and you can apply make-up or primer shortly afterwards
  • Scent: it has a slightly earthy, natural scent (which I can best describe as a bit like mens’ cologne).
  • Effect: In the short term, my skin felt soft and smooth, but it may not be hydrating enough for very dry skin

Cost

At £10,70 for 50ml, this is an exceptionally good value anti-ageing product.

Natura Siberica Snow Cladonia Night Cream

Review of Natura Siberica Creams

Claims

The Snow Cladonia Night Cream contains the same unique Siberian herb which stays green even at -50C. Being full of usnin acid, it actively restores skin cells and slows aging processes for a beautiful younger appearance.
Natural Vitalayer and Syn-Coll stimulate collagen and hyaluronic acid production, rehydrating skin for a firmer, naturally ageless look. Hyaluronic acid deeply hydrates skin, eliminating fine lines and wrinkles, and gives you a gorgeous morning glow.

Extract of wild harvested Siberian Dwarf Pine is rich in vitamins and thus acts as powerful ally in the fight against free radicals, aging, and dehydration; and finally organic calendula extract has anti oxidant effects and stimulates cells regeneration.

Packaging

As for the day cream, this comes with a handy pump dispenser for ease of application.

Directions for use

Put a small amount of face cream on your fingers and apply it on the cleansed face. Massage with gentle movements until completely absorbed.

First impressions

  • Texture – The cream is an off-white colour. It has a light texture and is easily absorbed.
  • Ease of application and absorption – It is non greasy, which means you can go to bed soon after applying it.
  • Scent – As for the day cream, it has a slight herbal scent, so don’t expect to be overwhelmed by floral or fruity aromas.
  • Effect – The cream is pleasant to use, non-sticky and hydrating.

Cost

This is a mere £8,40 for 50ml, and so does not make a dent in the budget!

Conclusion

I haven’t used them for long enough to be able to give detailed long-term reviews, but my initial experiences with both of these products have been good, and I feel that they would be suitable for sensitive skin. However, to be able to evaluate the benefits on any change in skin-care routine, you should always persevere with a product for three months.

I also feel that the benefits would be enhanced by adding other products in the range to your skincare routine: for example, the Natura Siberica Snow Cladonia anti-age serum and the Nature Siberica Snow Cladonia eye-cream.

I hope you enjoyed this review of Natura Siberica products, and have a look here for more of our beauty features.
