They say that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery and I am absolutely loving the way Olivia Palermo always manages to look so effortlessly chic, so today I wanted to recreate one of her looks.
Get her look: Olivia Palermo
She put a new spin on the striped shirt and denim combination by opting for an off-the-shoulder blouse (as seen on many of the catwalk shows this spring), and she paired this with cropped dark skinny jeans and floral, pointy-toe flats by Dolce & Gabbana and completed the look with a colourful bag by ‘Analeena’ and chunky jewellery.
See below for my take on this look. The “off the shoulder” shirt in this photo was made for me from one of my husband’s old shirts by my daughter.
By the way, the lipstick is the Tom Ford ‘Pink Lush’ lipstick I reviewed here last week, so you can see what the colour looks like “in real life”, so to speak.
For my outfit, I paired the “off the shoulder” shirt above, with skinny dark jeans from Mango and as I don’t have any floral shoes, I opted for these colourful sandals from Asos
